At first, I didn’t want to go. The name turned me off a bit. But I am so glad I went.
The $500 barrier to entry weeded out all but the most serious, and the crowd did not disappoint. When I looked around the room, all that I saw were intelligent, strong and driven men determined to get more from life. We originally met at a park and you could see our group from a mile away.
These were not your average motherfuckers.
Good posture and strong eye contact all around – behind those eyes, were minds – churning with thought. Much unlike the blank stare of the general populous.
After waiting around for 15 minutes – we hopped in an SUV and went to one of the most beautiful homes I’ve ever been in.
We talked about everything – business, politics, goals, women and psychology. Everyone was doing something. Everyone brought something to the table. I could not be more proud to be there. People shared their deepest desires – as well as their darkest moments. It was truly beautiful.
Men of accomplishment were there. There were no “what if”s, “if only”s or “I should’ve”s
There was only “I did” or “ I plan”
A planned 8 hours turned into 12 and no one was worse for it.
We were all tired – but determined to grow.
This is a group that everyone should surround themselves with. But most don’t. And thus, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
What separates the 2?
Only pure effort. The effort creates the divide and time only widens the gap.
Ten years of Netflix vs. Ten years of business, books and networking. There really is no comparison.
After spending 40 hours a week with losers, I’ve only come to one conclusion.
Associate with winners.
Iron sharpens iron.
